You gotta serve somebody....
While I obviously did not take either of these images (!)
I did create the diptych with the message. The time to consider who we serve is right now... we are not promised tomorrow so the decision is TODAY! Bob Dylan said it, "It may be the devil, or it may be the Lord but you're gonna have to serve somebody..." And, guess what? He's right! Make the decision for salvation today - you'll be forever glad you did!
Definitely a question a lot of people put off this ???? Until it’s too late. Glad my decision has been made

Hi Tommy,
While in principle you are correct - with people all over America leaving the church, what does the church have to convince people? The question they ask is WHY are they leaving? Is it a sinking ship?
Leaving because scripture says that in the end days there will be a great falling away

I guess we need to define "church." Is it a building, a denomination, or a communion of believers in Jesus? Granted, attendance at the physical church has declined, but the "church" in my opinion is the community of believers in Jesus Christ and is not bound by denomination or physical location. And it is clear in Scripture that the community of believers will suffer mightily at the hands of the Enemy before Christ returns... and I think we're seeing that in today's rejection of anything even remotely hinting at morality in our schools, entertainment, and our government. Perhaps a strong statement, but there's no denying that our society is on a deep and downward spiral... keep praying...

Hi Tommy, You are more correct than shown in what you have written. The parable of the Sower describes what is happening in the church right now. Matthew 13: When the youngsters listen to what is taught at school and see the relationship between their mum and dad, the lack of love and romance - for them it is more fun with a girl in the back of the car. People in 'the world' who have marriage problems, do not see anything they want for themselves in Christian marriages. The church fosters this by teaching husbands that they should love the church family more than their own wives and family. One of the results is addiction to pornography:
This sig does not like including internet links but you can do an internet search for yourself.
Before Jesus went to the cross, he gave us ONE NEW COMMAND. John 13:34 - and the result in the next verse. John 13:34-35:A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
The early Christians kept this command: and the result is in the last verse of Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Looking at the news media - I do not see any indication that the church has favour with anyone.
