I think I might have been at the same show...if you scroll up to page 10 you will see that I posted that same clown Balloon...and I am just on the other side of the Delaware....That is one coincidence.
Some very nice ones indeed

That is a great intro to this thread, do you have any other balloon photos you would like to share?
We would like to see them.
Eric
Love the flames inside the balloon Sirpixxalot
Hot air balloons has been resurrected, how cool. I have the negative of a balloon pic, in an envelope, in a box, in a closet, that I think may have led me on the photography path in the first place. I should find that. And what a great story about finding the movies Gessman. You resurrected them and really were the rightful owner. The fact that you wanted to return the film to the family was a gesture of pure kindness. Somewhere else on the hog there was discussion of family pictures and how often they are left behind and sold at auctions, perhaps by someone who did not care to review them...perhaps in err. It was you, not a member of the family that took the time to review them for their content, not to mention you purchased them. AMAZING STORY on so many levels.
This past July at our New England Camera Club Council Conference we had three hot air balloons for a "glow" on Saturday night. We had planned for them to also take off on Sunday morning, but it was too foggy where they were planning to land, so they didn't get off the ground. But our 1200 attendees had fun taking great shots on Saturday night. I was on the committee of helpers, so I didn't get to shoot a lot, but here are a few.

Very Nice! The one looking up into the balloon is great
Those are some great glow/flame shots you three.
So, any more balloon shots lurking out there?
Eric
