Hysterical, self defeating fact check article.

I read a quote attributed to Hermann Goering and searched it out to see if it was legitimate. Mine was.

searching for :

[it is always a simple matter to d**g the people along, whether it is a democracy or a f*****t dictatorship or a Parliament or a C*******t dictatorship.... voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.]

I found the link :
https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-goering-falsequote/fact-check-hermann-goering-quote-about-scaring-people-to-ens***e-them-appears-to-be-inauthentic-idUSL1N2LM23W

At the Reuters site, the author goes to great length to 'debunk' the following quote attributed to Goering.

[The only thing that needs to be done to ens***e people is to scare them.]

Apparently, people were using the 'f**e' quote to parallel the actions of the N**I's to today's leadership and its C***d actions. And, apparently, this endeavor was so egregious that the offending 'misinformation' had to be removed.

OK. Ignoring for now that an agenda of restricting speech IS egregious, as well as unconstitutional and tyrannical, look how the fact check is actually an utter FAIL. The method of debunking offers the real quote, which (apparently the fact checkers are i***ts) more directly resembles the actions in today's C***d panic. The REAL quote makes leaders' actions today look MORE like the exact thing Goering described. Astonishing is, maybe, not a strong enough word to describe this 'debunking'.

But in the C***d case the facts are in the numbers. Perhaps the leaders and scientists don't want you to get the v***s when the solution is at hand.
I'm just tired of talking to people that are too stupid stubborn to help themselves and realize too late that the scientists were right all along and not the politicians or the entertainers

If I survive three years from now and everyone who has taken the vax is ok. Then I will follow suit.

I might, but I’ve never gotten a flu v*****e, and in over 50 years have never gotten sick enough to need a doc tell me I had the flu. Also have never gotten strep…. And I contact at least 100 people every year who have one of those. I also never use hand sanitizer unless some Gestapo element is forcing compliance. Apparently keeping the i****e s****m active has the same effect as keeping muscles active. Strength.

My C***d diagnosis only happened as I lost smell. No noticeable fever, or cough. Nothing, and the smell thing lasted well beyond my mandatory quarantine. It seems I was in the presence of 80-ish kids in the days prior and the same 80 after my return to work. None of them ever got a C***d diagnosis, so given the hyperactive t***smissibility of C***d I have to assume every student who was infected had no symptoms. There’s only one person who also got it. My wife. Every symptom. Longer lasting symptoms. And oh yeah, she twice tested negative while symptomatic. Good help us all if the long term safety of the v*****es is as reliable as the testing.

Like so many others, you omit the connivance of the news media typists from the equation of snowing the people.

100 years ago, Walter Lippmann wrote a short book examining the role of the news media in a democracy: "Liberty and the News."

In it, he found that the news media includes lies, bias, and propaganda in its reportage.

He said the news media thus does not serve the public in a democracy.

Nothing has changed.
