Tough catch! From the ball's shadow it appears he had to be looking directly into the sun!
Paul Jules listed his settings above... only thing omitted was his FL of 400mm and exposure compensation of + 1/3 stop. btw I have greatly benefitted from studying Jules settings... He is truly a master of his craft and a bellwether in this forum.
