I waited two hours for these shots .., A D850 with a 200-500 on a tripod with a electronic trigger live view ..,
I had seen this Gecko earlier when I was photographing the Bird of Paradise at the Punch Bowl of The Pacific War Memorial where my favorite flowers adorn this serene and majestic setting ..
The wait was well worth it .., first watching as the bees circled and then landed.., then an appearance by the Gecko who was after a buzz buzz meal …,I never saw him catch any bees …
Download recommended .., but optional..,, Thnx for viewing ….
Excellent set! Love the Gecko!

Fantastic set of images!!!!
Colors are fantastic, especially that last shot!
Patience pays. That last shot is stupendous. Punchbowl..not a bad place to spend some time. You highly recommended it to me during our visit. One of the highlights of our trip.
Wow, nice series; beautiful color. The last is my favorite.
Defying logic, here in Bangkok we rarely have any mosquitos, flies, or other insects in our house. Why? We have a few geckos! Live them!!
Cheers, Don
Wow, excellent set. That last one is really beautiful.
