Went over the border to Scotland for a break with some of my family and stopped in a lodge near the town of Dumfries. this is a shot of a 13th century tower in the centre of the park, it was bequeathed by Robert the Bruce to one of his followers. As it was very hot while we were there, we ventured along the 'Solway' coast every day and visited some very interesting sites.

Visiting the tomb of John Paul Jones at the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis offers the experience of sensing history.
