Good opinion piece. Apparently the only LEO's that count to Trumpists are ones in scuffles with B*M protesters. Meanwhile, a number of Trumpist members of congress show up at a jail to declare that people in jail charged with assaulting police officers are "political prisoners". Jeez.

5 months of solitary confinement with no charges being brought? Is that the constitutional application of our laws dear doctor?
Maybe you should acquaint yourself with the 5th and 6th amendments to our country's constitution.
It can't be denied that there were some violent organizers there, probably fewer than 100 but they were the O**h K****rs, the P***d B**s, and others including A****a. They were exciting and pushing an otherwise unorganized crowd towards a r**t inside the capital building...
Many of those that have been imprisoned, like I mentioned for 5 months or more for doing nothing more than trespassing in the capital building are not only having to deal with what should be considered unlawful imprisonment, but they are also having their lives destroyed, both socially and economically, hope you folks are enjoying it, to me it is nothing more than the worst emotions a man/woman can have that is giving you satisfaction in their imprisonment. And you call us the f*****ts.

Dowd has written many op eds that are extremely nice critical of both Clintons. If she is an arm of the DNC she sure is a poor one.
