I love shooting these big foreign doves! They are so beautiful in flight. Here is a 5 shot sequence through my kitchen window I got this morning. I was using Shutter priority & ISO 10,000 for this darker overcast with some smoky haze in the skies...handheld. I was extremely tickled that all 5 shots were decent enough to keep, (IMO), one or two a bit better focus. I even like the different color of the scenes due to the conditions.
This pair of Doves are nesting in my area...they come everyday & hang out in the shady trees by my windows during the hot part of the days. Always coming & going getting drinks, even bathing in my fountain.
Thanks MSW...I aim to please! Lol...I was surprised my camera can track them in flight & get focus even a little!

Thanks a bunch Joe! I sure have fun getting shots like this! No tails at the edge of the pic or empty pics this time!

Very nice set. We have a pair of Mourning Doves that come each day.

I like to have the Native Doves around too. I had a pair for a couple weeks but they moved on I guess. Doves are so photogenic! Got any pics of your Doves? feel free to share if you do. Walt
