Stopped in to the Last Chance Pub and Cider Mill for an early light dinner. Now I haven't been to Cuba, no plans in that direction, but have tried Cuban Sandwiches at several places in Little Havana, and at an excellent Cuban Restaurant near Denver, but this is the best I've ever had - they make their own chips as well. Must have been hungry, just one shot with the sandwich half gone and House Flathead cherry Cider. Third time in a row, same order.
Per the menu:
LAST CHANCE CUBAN
Applewood Smoked Pork Carnitas, House-cured Canadian Bacon, Bent Nail Pickles, Swiss Cheese, Garlic Aioli & Spicy Mustard, served with your choice of Salt & Vinegar Chips or Pub Fries
You may have discovered the winner of the best sandwich award, QD. Looks delicious.

Absolutely the best Cuban I've had. The one near Denver, shop owned by Cuban emigres, was close second. Best sandwich, maybe. Have to think on that!

That is a great photo. I like the composition. I have never had a Cuban that way. I do like pork carnitias and occasionally make them.

Very good shot of a tasty looking sandwich. We eat at Cuban restaurants when in Florida, always enjoy the food.
Looking good! We have some of the best Cuban sandwiches here in Tampa too!

Worth a try if you have a good Cuban restaurant near.

Whooohoo!!Edit: (8:28 a.m. Fri.) I'm in the kitchen right now duplicating this sandwich as much as possible (Garlic bagel instead of a bun...) for our lunch.

Whooohoo!!Thanks! The only bad thing about something like that on a menu, is the likelihood of missing other great dishes because you always order it. There are at least four Billings Restaurants where I always order the same thing!
Excellent shot qd, the sandwich and cider go well together
