My favorite Nikon utility lens is my Nikkor 28-300 on my D850. Again, welcome aboard.

Welcome John. Don't get the wrong idea. Many of us may take hundreds of shots to get one that we want to share. Even Ansel Adams took a lot of shots before liking one enough to print and display.
Some BIF and sports folks do a lot of spray and pray with these new cameras that sound like a machine gun going off and still don't get a shot worth sharing
IMHO it wouldn't be as much fun if every shot was a prize winner. Although I'd like one Honorable Mention occasionally !!!!!!!!
