Oh yes, put me on the list to. I wonder how many boxes of cereal with no taste did I go through for the box top? It seems to me you had to have five box tops or was it seven and then some money to get your cheap plastic toy which I thought was great. Oh yes put me on the list. I kept my genuine, authentic decoder ring which was once used by the United States Military Service, for a lot of years.

oh yes, i drank a lot of ovaltine to get the captain midnite thingee..if i remember his stuff was free...also wheaties for jack armstrong's stuff....it took forever to get the stuff...i read somewhere that the articles weren't made until the offers were over...that way just enough things were produced to fill the requests, nothing left over...

No, but I sent Yogi Berra a letter when I was eight and got back a signed postcard sized photo. Well, sure, he may not have signed it. But I've still got it. I also got a picture of murder's row from that era. Neat picture, but I was a Tigers fan, but Yogi was my man despite being a Yankee.

I was also a Captain Midnight fan. I sent in an Ovaltine seal and $.25 for a decoder badge. I received the badge, my $.25 back, and a letter from Captain Midnight, himself, telling me that Captain Midnight's rangers EARNED their badges, the did not buy them. Many times I have wished I had had the foresight to keep that letter! Opportunities lost. Sigh.
