They say: "If you don't post pictures, then it never happened" well it happened and I'm pleased with the results. Had Uprinting.com do the printing (I don't recommend using Uprinting was a big hassle) & had Hobby Lobby do the framing. Picked up the framed print yesterday evening. But the photo had ripples in the picture, so hobby lobby did what's called a "Dry Mounting" which heats up and adheres the photo onto a poster board suitable for framing. The only drawback to doing the dry mounting, is that the heat could change the color of your print. I feel it might have changed the color of my print slightly darker. If this positive outlook continues, I'll be framing more of my work.

As always any of my photographs posted here can be printed & framed for sale, Contact me for more details. NOTE: I'm willing to trade framed prints for lenses and other photo gear. Currently searching for a gently used 85mm EOS Lens or a 200mm EOS or better Lens

nice photo, but i have a problem with Hobby Lobby ... last time i went there the sales clerk tried to tell me all about her relationship with Jesus.

That's all fine and well, but can i just buy my cheap made-in-China junk and leave? No, you have to go to this prayer meeting ... you soul can still be saved ... she was about to get like a southern tent preacher out of the 1940s ...

when i was growing up, mixing business with either politics or religion was pretty much off limits, and you could sell all the lawn fertilizer (or whatever) to whoever you wanted and you could do business with Arabs, Jews, the IRA, the NKVD, the Provos, the BLM, or whoever ...now we're all full of plastic [fake] rage, and everyone is insulted and offended by everyone else ...

I told the clerk that i was really happy that she'd found God, but i had somewhere i needed to be, and she kept pestering me to come to this meeting ... swipe ... scribble ... didn't wait for paper-or-plastic, just grabbed my stuff & left.

It's a well known that hobby lobby, chick fill a and many other retailers are religious stores that close on Sundays. I/we were never approached in this manor and if we were, I would have told the store manager. The reason for using Hobby Lobby for this print is because Aaron Brothers is no longer in business and Michaels is scrambling for a new printing company. Even Michaels software is fowled up and not functioning correct.

6 times Michaels online and in store has deleted our account and our images. I would not suggest using Uprinting or any online printing company because once the image is printed and not completely cured, they roll the image up for shipping, They claim the turn around is very quick, but our images got damaged in the process.

If anyone is going to do large format printing, seek out local printers and use an artist portfolio binder/case to store and carry your images. These carry cases/portfolios carry the images or drawing flat. DO NOT roll your images up. Because Michaels, Aaron Brothers, Uprinting, Shutterfly & Vistaprint have all damaged our prints, we're having to search for a local printer or break down and by a printer. But there is a small glimmer of hope, The company has larger format printers, the only trouble is, I have to know someone in that department to have images printed for me there. It's worth a shot.

I always us my local camera shop for printing. If I'm framing they will ask at pick up to approve the print/prints before you leave the store, not a must, but most will do so. For regular snap shots, for me, not an issue pay and go.
Never had any issues....

Happy shooting.

Try your local framing shop for printing. Ours has a large format printer and an experienced person to run it.

I do a lot of dry mounting. I always tell buyers whether an image has been dry mounted or not. If it has been, bubbles may appear if it is dropped, thumped, or such. If not, changes in humidity and temperature can cause the paper to wripple. So there are downsides to each.

Although I really do not like this community because of harassment from several users in the past, In fact moments ago, two other photo sharing community banned my account. This seems to be the new normal for me as a struggling artist/photographer I'm not able to get my images out to the public because those main stream sites continue to hound, harass and mock my images.

Comments like those above are a welcomed relief and a pleasure to see.

A couple years ago I wanted to get some large prints of some photos. I used Nations Photo Labs and was pleased with the results. The turnaround time was good, they shipped in flat containers and their prices were very reasonable. Living in a small town I have to travel significant distances to get prints made or use the internet.

Good to know @PhotogHobbyist as I've contacted Nations Photo Labs also, However they informed me that anything larger than 16 x 20 would not be shipped in a box and must be rolled up.
