I think I got my spot picked out for when BigBoy 4014 comes to my town Sedalia Mo. I thought about just setting upright on the tracks ha ha lol so what do you all think should I look some more

Good set up for a 3/4 shot, but, I'd pick one other spot where you could scramble like a daddy rabbit to get a good side view of the locomotive! It is an amazingly HUGE creation! Have you ever stood right beside one when they blew the whistle(?) OBOY, you feel it to your deepest recesses!

yes I can make the mad dash to where it will be the depot is about 1 mile away from my house will have time

Looks like an OK place to set up. But is there room for you and the other 500 people who will be there in front of you?
