These two Palamedes Swallow tails were courting in the shadows of a big oak tree. My D850 shoots 7 frames per second , sooo the following frames were taken in approximately two seconds. I have touted the ability of the D850 & the Tamron 600G2 but after this I'm a believer. Manual Mode/auto ISO/shutter 4000...of course handheld

I have been a photographer for 20 years and have never witnessed the likes of this, Vic! You certainly must not have any problems capturing birds in flight! WOW!! BRAVO!!

Excellent series, but I have one minor question. If you are shooting with Auto ISO, are you really shooting Manual?

Thanks, gunny! I walked up on these two in a whirlwind. Really didn't know if they were focused or not.
