I was sitting on the deck in late afternoon enjoying conversation with my lady friend while sipping my George and ginger. I started playing with some clip-on lenses on my phone and snapped these images of some petunias that were sitting on the table. These were made with a close-up lens and a wide-angle lens. Certainly not the quality one expects from a “real” camera, but I thought they have an interest all their own.

Phone shots cannot be discounted! Many time they are excellent. These are nice shots as good or better than many camera generated photos.
Thank you NMGal and Carol! These little clip-on lenses can be a lot of fun seeing what you can capture. I use a set by Amir.

Wow, I like them! Especially the first. I'm with you as far as having reservations about camera phones. I have never taken a photo with my phone so I reckon I should just stop here. But I did buy an Olympus TG-6 that I carry with me at all times.
Thanks, Chief! I use my phone camera mostly when I don’t have an alternative. But this playing around was fun and yielded some interesting results.

Thanks Jim, NimbusHopper, and TCT!

Maybe someday we will be over with worrying about whether a phone can take a good photograph. To determine if an image is a good one, start by looking between the four corners of the image itself. I think your photographs are great.
I appreciate that, RodeoMan!

Those petunias are pretty subjects, Crafter. Thank you.
