Thank you so much for your continued support Jimmy... and your very kind words!
They are greatly appreciated.... We all stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us...
Therefore I believe it's incumbent to share as much as possible with those who are interested in growing professionally...

All the best on your journey Jimmy

Thank you for your very kind words Toby... Albeit it is the team synergy that took this narrative to the next level.
I only provided illumination and capture... This amazing Tween talent deserves most of the credit as does the hair stylist and makeup artist...

All the best on your photographic journey Toby.

Thank you for your kind words MCHUGH... And yes Dean Collins was not only a highly skilled Master of the camera he was blessed with brilliance in knowledge base transfer... I purchased all his video courses and have reviewed them over and over again. Always learning something new each time.

Today's YouTube "Photographic" Gurus are more focused on recruiting followers and providing affiliate links... Both of which are revenue centric...

btw, in regard to your vintage copy of CS-3, if you the person you purchased it from was honest and did provided an unregistered copy you likely can install it on a virgin i.e. clean build of Win 7... The failed install attempt will have populated your registry with a myriad of Adobe parameters even if you successfully uninstalled the first attempt.

If it is a pirated copy sadly you're stuck... Try to get a refund from the seller... If you put it on your CCard you may be able to do this up to three or maybe even six mouths after the sale (depending on the CCard). I've had to go that route once before... the seller tried to fight this but I keep all correspondence, bill of sale etc... My CCard provider credited my account... Helps to have a significant other who is an account...

Please stay safe...

"...longer focal lengths allow tight cropping without having to be right on top of your model." This can be especially beneficial when collaborating with new and inexperience talent Alafoto. Everyone has their own "Personal Space" comfort zone. Female talent may find it a challenge to "Relax" into their "Zone" if the photographer is within arms reach. However they feel far less threaten by hair stylist and makeup artist who after all are totally "In the face" during prep.

Another factor that few realize until they are working in studio is the angle of view of a 300mm lens requires far fewer gobos and cutters to shield the lens from studio strobes (especially in back lighting scenarios such as this image).

I've used long glass on location frequently albeit with a monopod...
The lens used here weighs in at just over 7lbs... Definitely not hand holding that puppy for more than a few minutes!

Thank you for your kind words MCHUGH... And yes De... (show quote)

I too got his programs and made the sail cloth diffuser screens and scrims. Used his color gel on black background many times in portraits. On the CS-3 I got rid of it and went to PSE 2021 it does everything I need for my amateur work these days. No longer do any professional photography.

Thank you so much Vicky for your beautiful thoughts here...
All credit goes to team synergy on this image...

However most importantly the radiant elegance of this lovely "Tween" professional model!
