You never know with amoebas because they look like blobs. You have to wait until they move in an amoeba way. This one did. I followed it around and got some pretty good pictures along with the rest of the biome family.
I watched a Ted Talk given by a Lady who did research on deep-sea mud bacteria 5 kilometers down... they operate on a different time scale.. a 1000 years is a day to them... they consume so little energy
