Brighton Wildflower Close Ups

I will post more landscape shots tomorrow, but today I am sharing close up shots of wildflowers I came across during the hike. As I mentioned in my posts of wildflowers shots from the Albion Basin, the amount of wildflowers this season is greatly reduced. My rough estimate is that only about one-third the normal number showed up.
In that these shots are individual flowers the reduced numbers do not matter, but later group and wide shots do not contain the number and variety present in past years.

These are excellent shots, Mike. What they lacked in numbers, they made up for in beauty!

Beautiful images, Mike. I find that, in some cases, a close-up of one or two flowers can be as effective as an entire field of flowers. I think this is one of those cases. Well done.

For close ups, that works, Carol, but my wide angle shots do not have the covered hills sides that I have been used to.
