Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Great looking Pot Pie! I make them on occasion, but mine have ugly edges. Have never got that trick! Hate to admit I usually have a couple of Marie Calendar in the freezer for the odd lazy night.

when we lived full time in our Newmar motor home, (2000 - 2004) we always had Marie Calendar pies in the freezer.
this past year I was wishing we still had the motor home.

Even though we're in a good spot, I get that. My Daughter just visited in hers, would be a new experience for us.

I prefer Mrs. Budd's all white meat with "fancy vegetables" ( that just means it includes broccoli). 2 pounds for $5 (haven't checked the price in a while). I used to be able to eat the whole thing in one sitting...doubt I could do that now.

Will have to look for those, lived a few places but never saw that brand. Thanks! I can't / don't eat like I used to either!

Great lookin' Pie right there... Homemade is SO GOOD!! Look at that flaky crust... and that filling is creamy and loaded!! ....Whooohoo!!
(yeah, I'll admit to the Marie Calendar thing, too! They are very decent... but Homemade is so Gooood! Trader Joes CPP's are also right up there at the Top of my List!!)
