Getting Shutter Count for Canon 6D Mk ii

I'd like to post my Canon 6D Mk ii for sale on UHH and feel it only right to post the shutter count. I'm having a devil of a time finding shutter count programs that are compatible with this model. Unfortunately, my Mac's OS is maxed out at El Capitan 10.11.6 which limits (if not eliminates) what I can download to that platform. Which leaves me with Windows. Has anyone with a Mk ii been successful in getting a shutter count?

All I did was highlight your subject and search via google as in: Shutter Count for Canon 6D Mk ii

This first site gives a graph based on accumulated results:

https://shuttercheck.app/data/canon/eos-6d-mark-ii/

This first site mentions collecting data from this app:

https://shuttercheck.app/

The App says it requires: Requires macOS 10.12 Sierra or later

You can change your google search by adding "windows", alas it seems a bit harder. Canon doesn't embed the shutter count into the EXIF data of the images, so you need some programming that knows how to read this data stored within the camera. For each generation of DIGIC processors inside EOS digital cameras, where / how to access the shutter count is a bit different, needed new / updated programming.

If you have an Apple phone, consider ShutterCount from the Apple App store and use a Wifi connection from your phone to the camera to read the count.

Thank you CHG_CANON for your prompt reply. Unfortunately, neither of your suggestions work. My MacBook OS is maxed out at v.10.11.6 (it says it's up-to-date). Downloading the app onto an iPhone and using the camera's WiFi is something I hadn't thought about, but the Apple store doesn't list the app as a download. Regardless, thanks for the suggestions. I'll think of something.

The online chatter from Windows users say to use https://tornadosw.com/tornado-eos.php. It seems free for just reading the shutter count for one camera from one computer. Why anyone would pay seems unclear, as when I read the pay-for functions, I don't see a need for these.

I'll give it a try. Thanks again.
