When hunting I hike. I generally do not just to get from point A to B unless there is something that will fit in my freezer at the far end.

I did some quick research and found they were reintroduced into adjacent mountain ranges and naturally migrated there. The disease transmission issue is theoretical only and the sheep and goats don’t really mingle much.

I thought they might. Of course that is why I hunt there at night time with spotlights from the truck. The hundreds of thousands of tourists scare the animals away during the daytime. It is also not so hot out. Feel free to join me sometime.

LOL, there's always "Stop The Car Trading Post" for a milkshake in Silver Gate.
There's a little visitor center with rest-rooms almost across the street when you get into town.

Thanks Dave. I will have to take a look when I get there this Fall. If I stop for a huckleberry milk shake in Ashton and then another one closer to Yellowstone I might be OK. Of course by that time I will need the restrooms to deposit the cups of coffee and the previous milkshake. All good to know for travelers.
