That could be because the unv******ted and infected are crossing our Southern by the hundreds of thousand and they are coming from over 100 nations and many of those red states are in the South. Over 120,000 were intercepted last month, how many more made it thru undetected.

The connection is, the vast amount of those not getting the v*****e are ardent trump supporters; people who believe the BIG LIE and people believe him. Some trump supporters have opined that the v*****e contains a microchip for government monitoring! The disinformation campaign is dangreous.

The point is, if trump had come out and clearly and demonstrably told his followers to get v******ted, the surge in the deep trump states would be far less. He didn't and so those refusing to get the v*****e are further endangering themselves. As of today 83% of the new C***d cases are the Delta variant and those people are unv******ted. It's really a leadership issue. People believe him, he and Melania got the v*****e before they left the White House - had he publicly endorsed it, fewer people would be so seriously ill right now.

I agree, that is a noteworthy risk but that is not the main contributor to the surge currently occurring in the Midwest and southern states. Arizona and Arkansas have 44% fully v******ted. Alabama has 35%. The surges in those states may have a minor contribution by migrants but had the citizens taken the v*****e, statistics say they wouldn't be gravely ill. As I am sure you know, the Delta variant is especially contagious and virulent. In my opinion, not getting v******ted now is like playing Russian roulette. I understand some people have concerns about long term effects but, again in my opinion, that risk pales when compared to the risk of serious infection and illness by not being v******ted.
