CECILE MCLORIN SALVANT - Try something out of the ordinary and extraordinary

A brilliant artist with an unusual style. Reminiscent of Anita O'Day.
This is live concert in Budapest:https://youtu.be/9a_I-oKrVD4

Enjoy,
Mark
Personal note: During the Pandemic, I've taken only a few photos. My age is catching up with me! I miss it, but it's difficult to walk around for more than a short distance. So, music has become more dominant in my life.

Beautiful, Mark. I agree with someone who commented that Cecile is sublime. I was digging the pianist also. Thanks for sharing it.

Renee' Rosnes is a truly sensational jazz pianist. I found this via Youtube. Thought you might also enjoy it. I certainly did!

Thanks for posting this link. I first came across Celine (and fell in love with her voice) when she did a Christmas TV special with Michael Buble several years go.

Re: your personal note. I empathize. My camera club does photo walks once a month, and I used to love to go on them, but I find these days that walking around for half an hour (much less a couple of hours) takes stamina that I no longer have unless I can stop and rest for a few minutes at frequent intervals. Suppose I could do that if I carried some sort of seat with me, but my gear is heavy enough with adding extra weight to it. Ah, the joys of becoming part of the older generation. :)

I purchased a Sony RX10 IV for similar reasons. I sold my Canon gear last year on UHH. For me it was a wise choice. The Sony is a wonderful option.

I have empathy for you.
Be well and keep on truckin! Thanks for the note.

Are you confusing Celine Dion with Cecile McLorin Salvant?

No. I misspelled her first name above, but I was definitely referring to McLorin Salvant, Mark. Carelessness on my part.

It never occurred to me that you were, Mark. Truth be told, it took me a minute to figure out why you thought I may have been confusing the two of them, and then I finally realized what I'd done and understood the rationale behind your question.
