Along the north shore of California, these two imports thrive. From S. Africa, they lately were bestowed the "invasive" pejorative. Reportedly, the white/yellow variety is the worst offender. To this New Englander, and to a bee, they look fabulous.

I assume you don't mean the Poppy. I haven't been back to Calif. for over 20 years and I'm not familiar with the plants, what are they.
