I have difficulty understanding why some people use "catchy title[s]" to cause people to waste their time. Please resist the temptation. Why do you represent your photography by showing us a part of a cardinal and a squirrel that's out of focus? If this image is an indicator of your skill, you need new hobbies.

Well first let me apologize for offending you....sorry. Secondly, sorry if I'm a poor photographer, I'm sure I'm not in your class but I have fun and still enjoy life....Thirdly, since you're so offended please put me on your "ignore" list.

We have lost too many fine photographers on this forum due to sarcastic remarks like yours. Your beginning to sound like a troll.
If you disagree with how the op is doing things then give a critique of his photo. But if you can't find anything good to say about someone DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL

I think it is a decent shot, certainly not excellent a little out of focus but when you are shooting wild life you take what you can get because if you don't you might go home empty. I've been shooting wild life for a lot of years and sold a lot of my pictures and won a few contests but it seem to get a winner I have to shoot a couple of hundred bad ones first.
If you want to find out how to improve your photography post a couple on the photo critique section

No matter what rdgreenwood says I like your title and your shot but mister squirrel is never going to get a cardinal dinner today. Just keep shooting and posting and having fun. Most of us enjoy your shots.

Squirrels do sometimes eat bird eggs and hatchlings... so the title may not be that far off. Squirrels are omnivores, sometimes eating insects, too.

More likely he's just trying to steal some seeds or other food the cardinal is enjoying. Maybe "Sneaky thief" would be a better title?

The photo may not be technically perfect, but it does tell a story very well.

Thanks T, I was just practicing on the cardinal and just playing around in the back yard...saw the squirrel but didn't care to get it in focus, then I thought, why not have some fun, guess some people don't have a lot of fun in their life...Cheers T

Thanks Alan...not meant to be perfect, playing around with the camera and then just looking through the photos, saw the squirrel and said I'll have a little fun....Cheers, have a great weekend, keep shooting. PS, the Doves will run squirrels off in a heartbeat, they can be brutal...

I understand that completely I posted something asking for advice and was told by one poster ( thankfully not on the site any longer) to stop posting junk on the site, our other friends here explained what I had done wrong and gave me helpful hints to improve the photo next time and to keep posting which I did.

I like your photo Blaster34
