When I was working in the shop we sold Garmin product, we had a map on a micro SD arrive in the mail in a shoe box sized package. So much packaging. The actual product was dwarfed by the postage stamp. So I can relate to this one. Cheers.
This system of having a range of standard boxes started many years ago so that companies did not have to fiddle around with paying for dedicated size boxes in an effort to improve distribution efficiency. I believe many companies, the main culprit being Amazon, have taken this concept to a to a ridiculous level and created so much unnecessary waste.
