Eagles Belfair State Park 7-14-2021

Took the dog for a walk at Belfair State Park. Noted a bunch of eagles were flying around. Mostly juvenile Bald Eagles looking for food and trouble.
Bright overcast day, about 62 F, no wind. Tide was out to about 350 yards from where I positioned myself, although I do move from spot to spot.
D500, 500pF (what else?), 1/4000, f 8, ISOs between 800 and 3200, no CPL EC +1.0- Handheld!
The young eagles flew over and around me for about 600+ frames! Many ruined by heat distortion but a few came out! Took 876 images altogether! Other birds presented themselves and I will post photos of them as well.
We arrived at 11:10 AM PDT. Left 12:15 PM PDT!

It really was! The young eagles were all over and very active. Fun but short outing. Thanx for viewing and commenting!

Thanx for viewing and commenting! Yes one of those days. The photo conditions were not so great. Many great shots of Barn Swallows were ruined by Heat Distortion. Causes the AF to mud-cue on the subject in the box and miss-focuses low, right or left or?
