I used to take a daily walk with my camera and periodically posted my images in the photo gallery. I can no longer get out with my camera so I joined our new Calling All Foodies section where I can take food photos without leaving my house.
I love the foodie section but I also miss my friends in the photo gallery. I’ll always be in the foodie section but have decided to also resume posting occasionally in the photo gallery again. Pictures will be from my archives, some new and some previously posted, as well as my food photography previously posted in the Foodie section.
I’m excited about re-connecting with my old friends in the photo gallery and combining them with my new friends in the foodie section. My thanks to Quixdraw and Linda from Maine for their support making this all happen for me. Thanks also to all of my photo buddies in the foodie section and the photo gallery. You play a big role in my life.

Thank you for your kind words, kpmac. I missed it here and plan to stick around.
Excellent photo! Casebook example of taking best advantage of a wide angle lens.

Thank you, QD, I’m glad you liked it. Nikon launched their Coolpix A in 2013 then never produced it again. It was a pocket size camera with a DX size sensor, full controls and a great 28mm lens. I can’t tell the pictures apart from the ones I take with my D7200. I still have one and appreciate the size now that I can’l haul around my big camera.
Excellent use of perspective, John!

Thank you for your kind words, Linda. The ironic part is that I was born legally blind in my left eye and have gone through life with only one good eye. Worked well for me in archery and photography. 😀😀

Wow, that's interesting to know!
