Nice mate, agree that there is a few hot & cold pixels within this image (nothing dark frames wouldn't sort out)

Hi. Not by me.
The Infinity camera stacks the images as they come in. Often I use the auto feature, but just as often I will manually adjust the Black, Middle, and White to what looks best to me.
The camera has a dark library built in.

And come to think of it, I am getting a lot of "Rainbow Sprinkles" lately and was wondering why. (Those are hot pixels appearing across the image.) So Brilliant, I may have to build a new library into the Atik software! You've sparked some ideas to get me off the fence.

I've been away from my telescope for a while (about 6 months), and I'm quite rusty. But catching up again.
I was musing over the sprinkles. And I may need to turn on some things, or rebuild some.

But a On-shot Color camera is a bit of a different animal than a Monaural camera where each color is filtered into the matrix. Many/most prefer to do the file building, and the hours after hours of post processing.
I'm different. I like OSC cameras, and manipulate the image with time. OSC cameras have the color matrix fixed and sealed into them by the factory. I can still use some filtering, and do, but it affects the entire image.
I might need to see if they have come out with an update, or remove and reinstall my software to fix it.
I've done that before, to get an uncorrupted clean program.

Mostly, I just play around at this.

HHHHmmm, Sprinkles.
Sprinkles are often a sign of an incorrect or faulty bayer matrix being applied during the stacking whether that be manual or auto stack software.
The most common bayer matrix being RGGB to where 2 green pixels are applied to every 1 red & blue.
This is easy to fix within the likes of photoshop by aligning the RGB in the histogram.
I use numerous filters infront of my Altair OSC with great effect but again i need to realign my RGB during processing

Nice shot of the Lagoon. I look forward to your shots with the new monochrome camera and filters.

When I finally get everything sorted out.
Going from a OSC camera to this Smancy Mono is proving to be a daunting task.
But I'll win. I always win.

Got the get the mechanics figured out today. You would think rotating a camera to work with the Guide scope and mount would be easy...

Hah! It was, in the daylight, with terrestrial imagery. So at least I know up is North, and left and right are East and West. Maybe I can fine tune from there tonight, if the danged monsoonal clouds get the heck back to Aridzona.
My guide camera works those directions. So getting the main to cooperate is a matter of physically turning it to work the same. Anyway, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....
