I am considering buying a Sony a7iii. I currently have the following: Sony a77ii with 16-50mm lens; Tamron 90mm; Tamron 70-200mm; and the Tamron 150-600mm (2). My questions is what adapter would I need to utilize these lens until I can afford to replace them with E mount lens?
No BS, no speculation, no lecture.
LA EA4.I use a very similar a7iii kit.

I recently converted my LA-EA4 to a LA-EA4r; eliminates the translucent mirror and adds some focus features.

Has anyone thought to ask what type of photography interests the OP, before recommending all these adapters? Since he has a Tamron "super zoom" we can infer that nature/wildlife is among his interests. So the question is should he forfeit the near state-of-the-art autofocus ability of the a7iii (that he's just paid for) with an old lens and an adapter? Makes little photographic - and less economic - sense to me.
An admittedly unkind quip from Ken Rockwell about using old lenses and adapters on new Sony bodies:
"[N]one perform as well as Sony's latest dedicated E-mount lenses. [An] adapter is for old people with a bunch of old lenses of which they they won't let go rather than get with the program and buy all new dedicated E-mount versions."

The Sony a7iii is a great camera. You need to use the full frame capability. Trade in your old lenses for a Sony lens. I recommend the Sony FE 24-105 f4. It is a fine lens designed to work with the Sony alpha systems and will likely satisfy most of your photo needs. You might consider adapting the 150 - 600 lens you have, but it will be slower than the Sony equivilent if you are using it for wildlife/bird photography. Yes, Sony lenses are somewhat more expensive, but they are well matched for the system and work well. You might consider replacing your four current lenses and buy two Sony lenses as a replacements. It makes it much easier traveling.

This is my plan. Thanks to everyone who responded to my post.

Don’t really care what his subjects are. He wants the adapter as a temporary measure. It’s quite clear that he doesn’t need anyone’s lecture about A-mount vs E-mount, despite Hogsters’ irrepressible need to present themselves as experts concerning gear-for-subject issues.

Well if you read the OP's last post, he says he's decided to sell his A mount glass and start with some new E mount lenses.
So he seems to have taken to heart at least some of the advice proffered on this forum not to waste money on an adapter, only to get objectively inferior performance from his newly purchased camera body.
PS Benefitting from Hoggers' actual, hands on experience with "gear-for-subject" issues is one of the best advantages of membership!

You did the conversion yourself? This is a most interesting situation. You are now getting Eye autofocus on your Minolta lenses? How much would you charge to do the conversion for someone else?
