Very good work, Don! I like the leading lines as well as the subject. BYW I could swear that I have seen this shot before.

I think I took this on Neal Preserve in Bradenton Don.

Usually, getting really low is a great idea for a composition. In this case, I can see where the walkway bends; but you cant see the railing because it is partially obscured. So we have a view of the foreground that moves us into a curve. I wonder if there might be more impact if you had raised the camera to just above the height of the railing. That way, we would see that curve move into the background more.

Having said that, I really like that everything in this composition is sharp. You really worked that well. Nice photo.

Thanks for the suggestion Erich. Will revisit the images I shot that day to see if I have a higher point of view. I do like the low angle but will see if a higher one works for me.

Thanks for viewing and commenting Carol. I wanted an even lower angle but the old knees would not cooperate and the D7200 does not have a tilt screen.

I like the low angle you used to get this shot. Usually I like clouds in the sky for a bit of drama. But not in the case. The sky was the last thing I noticed, which in this case was a good thing. The boardwalk is the main subject not the sky. So it all works for me.
