Ordering Pizza

While I was at work the other night, we ordered a pizza from a local pizza chain. As I was talking to the order taker, I could tell that she was not physically in the building of the pizza place. So I used her if I was talking to her in a sometime of call center. And she said that she was. So I asked her where she was at and she said the Philippines. So I looked it up and the chain is centralizing taking orders to improve operations and profit.

Here in NYC we have the luxury of a good pizzeria every few blocks. Nobody in my house would eat pizza from a chain. I also like to support my local businesses. The chain corporations can handle the Covid easier and don't really care about me. Someday you should come to NYC and try some of the best REAL pizza. 😁😁😁 No offense intended.

I usually prefer the local family owned pizza too, but it was late and the locals were closed.

Good Pizza? Staten Island, or Brooklyn! Some of our pizzerias are older than me!

NYC has the best pizza. It has to do with the water.

Come out of the front of NY Stock exchange, make a right, to end of block, make a left on the small side street & down next to the under ground parking garage. Best pizza I ever had. Have been there in15 yrs . don't know it if its still there. And I think it was the SE corner of 92nd & 2nd also. I get some pretty good pizza close to my home but, not like NY. I here Chicago is pretty good to.

I remember the place behind the stock exchange, hole in the wall, down stairs, pies just disappeared while you stood in line , good pizza
