Repeating: If the transactions or activity involved potential identify theft, then drop your mouse NOW and head for the police station to report suspected identify theft. The police report will establish your true identity for the record in later disputes if any.

By federal law, the telephone companies soon will have to do even more to prevent unwanted calls from reaching your telephone in the first place.
