A trip with our oldest grandson that was 2 years in the making thanks to Covid-19. Bright sun 6 out of the 7 days. My initial photo analysis of the 500+ photos:
15% duplicates (heavy shutter finger)
15% should be deleted as nothingburgers
10% keepers to pp
60% snapshots
Haven’t started the pp yet so here’s a few from the snapshot category with just a bit of wax and polish.

High season is brutal on traffic. We really enjoyed being there last September. Traffic not so bad. Next time we would like to go in winter if that’s possible.

Best time I was there was many years ago for opener - fantastic! I would NOT come over Beartooth Pass again in May!

And we would want to come in from Beartooth pass. I wonder if there is someone doing excursions in some type of snowcat or vehicle that could traverse snow. Maybe that’s only in certain areas of the park. I’ll have research it

Thanks Quixdraw, MFTVGirl and kcooke. The 2nd shot is SOOC, glad you like it. The only place traffic was a mess was around Mammoth. Around the rest of the park it was easy to avoid crowds (not counting wildlife-imposed traffic jams), even around Old Faithful; do you really need to see it from 100 ft away, or will 100 yds away be ok?

Beartooth pass just reopened on June 4th I believe, but is still closed to traffic at night Monday through Thursday. We came down from Bozeman so we didn’t see it this trip, but did get as far east as Cooke City.

Well thank you. Shot was made with the 14-42 kit lens which has been good to me.
