Working on the railroad

My husband is a volunteer at The Boone and Scenic Railroad and is helping to restore a locomotive. The photos are from inside the shop but pictures of a Steam locomotive that is being restored.

You can't help but be proud of those who volunteer their time and skill to restoring these fine machines. We should all shout out our thanks to each and every one. THANKS!!!

I envy your husband being able to work on and be around those fantastic locomotives. Steam engines are the best!!! I would love for you to post photos when it is up and running again.

Southern California Railway Museum on my end - Operations Department - we get to run what the restoration guys fix up.

Thank you for commenting I appreciate it! My husband is helping with a diesel locomotive and not the steam one. I will post more pictures when I can.

Thank you for commenting, I appreciate it. Glad to hear you get to run them! While we were there this weekend we took our annual motorcar ride. Our "chauffeur" that runs the motorcar is a volunteer. He and my husband love to talk trains. Me, I just take pictures.
