She hasn't seen them yet, so looking forward to her reaction. What's amazing is she looks JUST like her mother when she started dance at this age! They do make great memories.

The first one, such a serious "I gotta get this right!" expression.
Then the other gradually happiness and joy replace the serious look until she is glowing with "I did it!!!!!"

Adorable. My daughter took dance from age 3 to 17. I love the look of concentration in #1. Also I liked the one with her sitting down smiling proudly with the medal around her neck.
As you probably are aware, the rigor and personal discipline of classic dance does wonders for a girl's academic performance. Not to mention what it does for a strong body.
