AIO Printer Suggestion

My Canon printer recently died, after about two decades of use. I want to replace it with an All-In-One printer. I will appreciate suggestions for this replacement.

My use will consist of printing online news reports for mailers to a prison inmate, general documents like spreadsheets and text, images and text from the Internet, and passable prints from my photographs.

I require two-sided printing to save on paper and postage. All the better if the printer collates output.

Thank you for suggestions and comments for this replacement.

I use a cannon ts8220. My wife uses the newer model ts8320. They both work well and print excellent photos up to 8x10. Also you can get ink very reasonable from Precision Color. I have been using mine for 2 years and momma has been using hers for a year. Very happy with both and very reasonable in price. Wireless works well also

A big change in printers during the last two decades has been the introduction of ink tanks to replace cartridges. If it were me I would start by looking at the Canon PIXMA G6020 Wireless MegaTank All-in-One. There are versions from Epson too.

Bought it. Need it. Ink tanks instead of cartridges a welcome innovation.

Just wait. First, they get us all to buy ink tank printers. Then they raise the price of the ink.

I've read numerous times that printer manufacturers make their money on selling overpriced ink, not on selling the printer itself. If I can believe the sales talk, then the ink tanks cut way back on ink cost per page. What do you say?
