Can anyone tell me what kind of Hawk this is.
Too dark to see detail but the tail being long and round looks like a Cooper's Hawk to me.
I'm voting for Red Tailed Hawk, the most common hawk in North America. I looked up pics of it on the net, don't claim to know a thing about hawks.
I do know I really like your picture though. It needs some editing to brighten and bring out the colors of the hawk.
According to a picture I have on an Audubon app, i would guess that it is a juvenile Coopers Hawk.

Looks like a ridgeway to me, but I don't think they are in the states.

I’m not familiar with “ridgeway” as a species, is that a local name?

It looks like a Cooper or Sharp Shined I'm not sure.
I've had some building nests around my back yard.
Hard to guess they look so much alike.

As I said, they are not in the states as I know.

I'm not sure what it is but I don't think it is a Sharp-Shinned Hawk. They have a unique skirt of feather on their legs/lower body.
