Cleaning out cabinet in my Grandparents house and found this. I’m guessing it is well over 50 yrs old, I’ve never seen one like it. My Grandmother must have used it as they were quite frugal and the house is quite small, so not many frivolous items.
4” tall and 9-1/2” in diameter.

Hall makes pottery and crockery for cooking and serving. This is used for soups and sauces with a spout for pouring. Probably worth $20 on ebay...

Possibly a gravy boat/dish or to mix liquid ingredients and to facilitate pouring them into others.

I have corelle made exactly like that. It is a pouring spout on the side. Good for soups or anything you want to heat in it and then pour out.
Not good for left handed people.

I understand that. However, it is so much better than it was 50 years ago. My favorite lefty things are measuring cups and scissors. 🙃

The right half of your brain controls the left half of your body,
the left half of your brain controls the right half of your body,
consequently only left handed people are in their right minds

Makes sense, the small handle is a bit mystifying.
