Gotta love that Whizzer, there were a few of them around back in the '50s. First motorized two wheeler I ever crashed on. They were lots of fun, plain and simple, just right for a kid.

Not just for kids. Both my dad and I each had one back in the late 40s and early 50s. He used his to get to work. I used mine to get to and from high school. Yep, I too crashed once. As I remember the complete rig, less bike, cost $100 in 1949. I liked my Whizzer, but I still "lusted" over the Cushman motor scooter. Way too expensive for me though. Ah, the good ole days.

The same on the Whizzer for my brother . Yes the Cushman Eagle with the side shifter by the tank, lots of those in Fairbanks when I was a kid. Some guys had Mustang Thoroughbreds, wheels were somewhat bigger. Fun stuff not the hassle of what comes with larger bikes. I ended up with a 1964 Norton Atlas, still have it, don't ride it anymore, can't do the kick start. Long long time ago far far away.
