Beauty! I would love to take a shot like this at the Butchart Gardens in B.C.

Beautifully done, Bill. The download is fabulous. Love what the longer exposure did with the lake fountains spray.

I was wondering how long an exposure myself. It appears to be a couple seconds at best. Don’t have a nd filter for my current lens, so very limited, but have had a lot of fun with them doing longish exposures in the past. I was convinced that there was a similarity to slide film, in that there appeared to be more richness in the colors.

Thanks Joe - I'm glad you liked it and appreciate your very nice comments. I used to do lots of long exposures, and for some reason got away from them. Hopefully I'll have a chance to grab some more this summer.

Thanks Sidwalkastronomy - the shot was was taken at Watchung Lake. The exposure was 6 seconds at f11 with a 10 stop ND filter - shot on a Nikon Z50 with Nikon 24-200 lens.

Mark - 6 seconds at f11 with a 10 stop ND filter. I've always liked long exposures, and agree there is just something about them that strikes a chord for me. I'm dusting off the Lee Filters kit I have and plan to put it to good use this summer.
