I think that it is a pretty important day in our history and have no problem if the country wants to reflect on the historic importance of that day.

If you can't see that freeing s***es is a landmark in our history...... Although I respect those who work with their hands and built this country but I would consider June 19th to be a more important day in our country's history.

How is this holiday an attack on white people? It is recognition of principled growth and action in our country's history, think about the injustice of owning people as chattel, as if they were nothing more than livestock! Often abused, raped, beaten, and yes even murdered without repercussion, it is actually almost inconceivable that such practice was considered acceptable but it was and the abolition of that way of life and what it meant for the generations that followed is a day that should be remembered and yes, celebrated.

I've often fantasized about everyone not filing on Apr. 15. The enormous amount of work that would cause the IRS would bring things to an abrupt halt. However, everyone needs to participate. Strength in numbers sort of thing.
