I came across this bee, seeming asleep, under a dead bloom on one of our Salvias.
When I first approached it flew but after a few seconds it landed back in the same spot.
I couldn't very close so shot is heavily cropped.

Good shot. I have never seen a bee sleep, rest, or even stop moving for very long. Curious! Worth some research. Thanks!
