When the tide changes at the mouth of Goleta slough, the fish seem to be easier to catch. Of course, not all parties get along and there is a lot of fish stealing going on! The osprey seemed a bit uncomfortable at his perch and flew off to eat in private. The snowies can eat some pretty large fish!
These were shot mostly at shutter speeds of 1/2500, with the Sony A1 and a GM 100-400 zoom lens with 1.4 teleconverter attached.
Happy with its catch……I think it’s a mullet.
