Kanab UT and Page AZ...
Was hiking in and around Kanab UT and Page AZ. Both are very nice but really liked Kanab.
The Toadstool Trail and the Squaw Trail in Kanab were both awesome.
Horseshoe Bend was amazing but I couldn't get the "iconic" shot since I was not venturing out on the rocks above the fencing. LOL. Some where though. Fortunately it was fairly early in the morning and not crowded at all.
Beautiful. I love Kanab area in particular. Had friends there for many many years.
Great shots, do you have to go far off your access road to see such sites ? In photo 7 that boulder balancing high up seems to suggest they don't get any ground tremmors or earthquakes.
Beautiful images and a terrific series...first one is stunning!!
Thanks. Yes I was very impressed with Kanab. I could live there.

Thanks. Some of the trials were off the main roads. The Toadstool Trail is right off of 89. Its about a 2.5 mile trail
but can be pretty hot if you don't get there early, can also be crowded. I was fortunate that the weather was perfect and very few people.
The Squaw trail is on the outskirts of Kanab, so its easy to get too. There were some significant elevation changes.
The Horseshoe Bend is very easy to get to and is a very wide paved path.
But many of the trails do require 4WD or at least a high clearance SUV.
Not sure about earthquakes.
Wonderful set! Did you visit Best Friends in Kanab? Well worth seeing.
