oh Goodness.
you may have to print out whats closest to what you are in need of and then simply cut the excess paper off.
Sorry that i can't be of more help to you.I also hate to see you waste photo paper because i know the cost of it.

Yeah, I just had 50 sheets of 13x19 cut down to 11x14.

Lordy- that's not good!
And with the cost of these carts, we sure don't want to be experimenting.
would it be feasible to have someone do the printing for you, this one time? I hear Costco is good. But that is only hearsay on my part. I don't use outside sources, i do my own.

I print 11x14 a lot for our club Competitions. I just bought this printer and was trying to do my first print. What a bummer!. How canon could make a printer like this, is beyond me. Guess I'll have to put it on CL.

That would be disappointing to say the least.
I sized my print to 11 x 14 in Photoshop, then put it on the left edge of an 11 x 17 canvas size. I then put my 11 x 14 paper in the printer and told it that it was 11 x 17 paper. It printed borderless 11 x 14 just fine, and ejected the paper when it got to the end of the file.

I'm lucky I did not buy a stack of refills for it. I usually do that for a new printer:)

i buy to keep ahead. I often can't find the carts i need to replace in Wal mart or staples or best buy.
I get approx 6 photos before one/two runs dry . But boy does it ever print beautiful pictures out.

Whoa Mel! Try it again!
When you're setting "Custom" size, be sure it's set for inches, and not millimeters, and be sure to set 11x14, NOT 14x11. Note the parameters to the right of your adjustments, it will not allow for a 14" width because 13" is you max width on the Pro-9000. I just set mine for 11x14 without a problem.
Fear Not, fellow UHHer, it'll work!
