A little less on the moon would make it perfect. Eyes are drawn right to the moon when viewing.

Any better? Any suggestions on how to do it?

I think in photoshop and others there is a paint brush to soften/darken an area without losing any details. Although your moon is void of details, I'd try to darken it a bit.
But still a nice photo as was this one in Ft Myers, FL

Think the same overblown moon in Ft Myers (LOL)

I agree with Sarge69. I would take a seperate well focused and exposed moon and paste it over your bright moon. Nice composition either way. David in Florida.
perfect! the moon is the subject. the eyes are drawn there then to the area that it illuminates. i had to stop and examine the photo. well done!
