Summer Night Imaging.

With clear skies predicted after 2100hrs I found myself set up awaiting for darkness to fall, well as dark as it gets this time of year.

That afternoon I had been pondering upon which part of the sky to photograph, Cygnus or Cepheus (Elephant Trunk)?
Then came the suggestion of Cassiopeia & The Bubble Nebula.

So here we have The Bubble Nebula & Friends.....

I am!
Just doing the Doctors orders. Light duty until the 27th.
Magically, on the 27th, I can resume normal activities.
Whatever "normal" is.

The night of the 27th the telescope is going on the mount.
Even if it's cloudy...

Thanks mate, the new 269c is certainly performing well especially with Triband & LPro filters.

Zero amp glow, very low noise & extremely sensitive

Thanks for sharing. As someone who first shot film (1958) and processed it in my basement darkroom, may I live to do as well as your image that you have shared with us.

Many thanks Paul.
Gathering the data to produce images is a relative small part towards the final photo.
The post processing being the longest & hardest at times.
