Fun with a free fish eye lens.

The photos below were taken with a 3.5mm Meike f2.8 Fisheye lens for MFT. The lens has a 220 degree angle of view. I use this on a PENF as it has a flat front. It is super hard to keep your fingers out of the image. If you use the EVF you are likely to see your legs, beer belly or I suppose a woman's chest might be an issue. These are the first images. The lens is pretty good but there seems to be a bit of blue fringe at the very edge. A circular mask could be used to crop out the edge, however. Lens cost me nothing as I used credit card points that had been sitting around for decades.

I am all smiles. These are extremely fun lenses, and you made the perfect choice, especially price-wise.
These lenses also have very good close-up capabilities, and with a thin extension tube you can really get up close for some very interesting shots of flowers and bugs. It won't be super sharp, and you know the chromatic aberration, but fun is not all about super hi image quality.

Absolutely right about the challenge of keeping 'you' out of the picture. Have not thought of women's chests though 😂

I used to have a Sigma 15mm full frame (rectangular) fisheye with a 180 degree diagonal field of view. I had to make sure I didn't point the camera downward, even slightly, or my feet would end up in the shot.

Given the right subject it took some very interesting shots. I may start looking around for another.
