Near the famous Duomo cathedral in the centro of Milano exists an area called the Galleria. This place has many of the signature brands for which Milano is famous selling at retail. Milano is known for the famous brands of clothing, fragrances and art that originate there.

One thing that I have found to be true of Italians is they build things of quality and fine workmanship. Far different than our consumer obsolescence.

Once again you have demonstrated your skill with B&W images. Were these originally taken with color or B&W film then scanned? Your images have beautiful tonality. Would you share your process with the rest of this community?

All of my images are digital color. I use raw only. I convert these to black and white using channels in PS. From there the images are processed with a variety of masking techniques and selections. A big part is knowing what a good black and white photograph can be. From that knowledge one can judge their own results.

I have been doing this for nearly forty years starting with large format film. At one time I used a view camera with a 12X20 inch negative... All of that contributes to my photographs today.

Miteehigh, well done with 12X12...very nice. I can only imagine a 12X12 contact print. I only ventured into the land of 4.5".
Thanks for sharing.
